    Absolutely shocking. Over an hours wait for food and then 3 meals still didn’t arrive over 30 minutes later. What we did get was of very poor standard.

    Hi we have been quite regular with our visits to Poachers. However yesterday it took incredibly long for the order to arrive. They seemed busy but I have been when it’s been more full and it has never taken this long for the food to come out on the table. The food also was not up to the mark yesterday. In my countless visits to this place it has never happened before. Hence compelled to write the review

    2 days before my meal + 3 weeks after the booking I was contacted to say the had a block booking. After some words the booking was reinstates. However, the ales were too cold and the menu was very basic for a Gastro pub. My friend and I left after our drink without eating there. Also music was too loud as the were celebrating company Anniversary (probably 10 yrs?)

    It was such an amazing night. The bollywood dj was so good. Really enjoyed the food, the drinks, the music and the atmosphere. We danced so much. Thank you so much for a lovely night. I will keep an eye on these Bollywood nights. Cannot wait to come back

    Went to watch the India v Pakistan cricket - great atmosphere and we had a great table. Whilst the speaker was too loud at one point, the volume was turned down slightly which made it a lot better. Food was great, although it would be good if the kitchen can use different oil to fry food that contains gram flour to food that doesn’t - staff did let us know that the same oil is used so we could make menu decisions accordingly.

    We always have had good experience but this time the prawn curry was not good at all. And we dnt get any compensation for that. Also we realised the next day that one of us had been over charged when we saw the bill the next day.

    It was our second time at the Poachers Gastro Pub and it was excellent. Be it food, service and music. I'm sure it's our favourite go to pub now 👍

    We had a fabulous experience. We went at lunch time and although the Poachers had very few customers, we didn’t feel at all conspicuous or uncomfortable. The level of music and attention from the staff was perfect for creating a relaxing, but attended-to, feeling. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! I will definitely be back soon.

    This was the first time we have tried this place. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. My son had the burger which he really enjoyed, while I had the fish. They gave us loads of really nicely cooked chips. He had fries and I had thick cut. The chips were crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, and not greasy at all. The fish and it's batter was really excellent, not greasy like the one I had the other side of town a few weeks ago. This one was cooked just perfect. It definitely deserves a return visit with my wife and some friends.

    Ordered 6 meals, 4 correct, mine wrong meal and last did not arrive. Advised missing meals, mine finally arrived last one initial not good replaced. Thus 4 finished before 2 started
