Standing proudly in the village of Cropwell Butler just outside of Nottingham since the mid-1800s, the Plough Inn is the perfect place for family get-togethers, a retreat for walkers, special occasions, delicious pub food and even a relaxing place to catch all the sporting action! Christmas is so much more than just the big day itself and we'll keep the festivities going all the way through December into the bright lights of 2025! Nice and easy booking system. Extensive menu with some pub classics mixed with new names and tasty treats. Food is all super fresh and clearly cooked to order. Service is done with a smile and attentive. And all great value

Car park full but only two others in the restaurant, which really needs a refresh. Dark paint colours way past their renewal date. Service, when it occurred, was good apart from the first course being incorrectly noted by the waitress. To be fare I think she was on her own and there were several customers in the garden, who she was also dealing with.

Went to the Plough for Sunday lunch. We were a group of 6 and were really impressed. Food was good quality, generous portions and good value. Service was excellent and the pub has a very nice ambience with a very nice garden. A great find for our group and we definitely return.

Lovely friendly pub, we did the Monday - Wednesday menu and it was a fast & friendly service and the food was very good. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed

A nice Sunday lunch, reasonably priced in a typical, genuine country pub. It doesn't try to be something it's not, not fancy, just comfortable and relaxing with good food, the cauliflower cheese is particularly excellent by the way, and good service. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient, and when she became busy another stepped in to help who we guessed was the landlady, also very pleasant. Would recommend and will be back.

We had a lovely meal, standard pub grub, very well cooked and presented. Desserts were delicious! Service was wonderful and we felt very welcome and looked after. Great value for money.
