A pub in the modern sense of the word. We have a bar area and a dining room, we serve food from a menu that changes often, it isn't fine dining nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, do not be afraid to share, as sharing truly is the spice of life.

If you would like simply to pop in for a cheeseburger and a refreshing pint please do, there is always space in the bar.

It is loud and slightly chaotic, at night it is dark, we turn tables because we need to in order to survive, make the business work, and pay the people that make it work. Please don't be offended if we ask you to wait a little moment for your table to be ready.

The kitchen opens at 6pm for service during weekdays (Monday to Friday) and at 1pm during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) for a lunch service. The pub, however, opens at 3pm on weekdays and at 12pm on weekends

    Absolutely incredible food, service and atmosphere. One of the best meals we have had in years and an interesting menu. Everything we had was exceptional. The recommended wine was also great and the whole meal + drinks was great value for the quality. The blonde waitress that looked after us was incredibly polite and helpful and added to the excellent service. Going back next month.

    Great food, really friendly service from Alice. Steered us in the right direction for our main meal and dessert. Great first experience and we will be back!

    Sorry but this was a big disappointment. I asked for a window table for a special occasion. We got a tiny table with stools and dogs v close as tables v close. My fish tiny portion on a side plate (that was a main meal) and 2 tiny carrots. Had to add potatoes as extra. Husbands burger good but I came away v hungry and had a tiny v average glass of wine Shame as it was something we had been meaning to do for ages but a disappointment.

    Burgers were yummy, sides quite good too. However drink expensive. Our meal was very expensive for what it was. We also got thrown off our table and there was no where else to go for drinks.

    We had really high expectations for the burger and it exceeded them. Great food and really lovely staff.
