Situé dans Trustees Garden, à seulement quelques pas de la rivière Savannah, ce fameux restaurant est l'endroit le plus historique de Géorgie. D'ailleurs, The Herb House, érigée en 1734 et située à l'intérieur de Pirate's House, est la plus ancienne maison de l'État. The Pirates' House a ouvert ses portes en 1753 en tant qu'auberge pour les marins et est rapidement devenue leur point de rencontre. My family and I had a great meal and a wonderful server. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the House as well as the menu. His recommendations were spot on and he went out of his way to make sure my kids had a great visit.

We were really excited to visit for our first time this past weekend. We visited at 12:30 on Saturday, and it was a decent amount of people (most tables full, but not crowded/no wait). My kids loved the kids meal menu (it's a pirates hat you can punch out and wear). The kids menu seemed to have good options, but the portion sizes were extremely small for the price (they each got the kids pasta, it came in a tiny bowl with no sides). My husband is the only one who enjoyed his meal...he's allergic to shellfish so his options were extremely limited. He got the chicken fingers and said they were good. I had the fish wrap and it was terrible. I will pretty much eat anything, and love food, and I couldn't even eat 1/2 of it. So bland and soggy. It was super disappointing. I'm a girl scout leader and we're in the midst of planning our troop trip for 21 people next summer. I had this as a must do on our itinerary, but after visiting we'll be looking for a different dinner option.

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, the burger tasted like a frozen burger with no seasoning, the roll was bigger than the burger, and the fries were very good. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was OK but too much roll. We also had Fried Green Tomatoes that were good. We were there early, so to have a frozen pre-made burger for the price I paid, I would not be back because I had better off of my ninja grill for less money, and it was fresh! The little tour and history of the building were nice.

Very fun restaurant. Food is good, but not outstanding. Service was fast, almost too fast. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The “strolling pirate” added to the fun. Limited wine options. Good value for the money.

Go for the ambiance and experience. Food was okay and a little pricey for the quality. Our waiter was phenomenal.

Food excellent. Waiter was only interested in his tip. First off they put little bread dishes on table so you expect bread which never comes. I asked him after dinner and he said you have to ask for it. Well how about mentioning it. I’m not a mind reader. Then after dinner he presented the check and stood right over my shoulder. Made me extremely uncomfortable. We sat at our table after dinner for 15 minutes waiting for the tour. Didn’t know we had to go up front and ask hostess. Would have been nice if someone told us. So we just left. Again, excellent food. Owner needs to think about management
