Welcome to the historic and brand new Pine Room! Once a writing room, a World War II Officer's Club and a Pub, the new Pine Room features an open kitchen that is the star of the show, as the Pine Room Chefs are on full display entertaining guests as their meal is prepared.
Guests will find the familiar comforts of the space they remember with the exposed historic pine wood paneling matched with our Hotel Roanoke four-diamond service that’s refined but relaxed, and a dining experience that’s unpretentious, delicious, and exciting.

Very happy with our experience. I ordered the mushroom burger. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The minted melon mojito was refreshing. Would definitely eat there again.

We recently had dinner at the Pine Room at the Hotel Roanoke. the service was outstanding! our waiter was attentive without hovering, and food came reasonably soon. My sister drank an excellent red wine, and my husband and I stuck with water. Her smash burger was overcooked, but my Pork Shank was succulent, although the mashed sweet potatoes were awfully smooth. My husband's fish was also a little overcooked, but fish is always tricky. My sister and my husband both had the fruit tart with vanilla ice cream;; hers was plain and his was decorated with a caramel sauce windowpane pattern. The tart was a little heavy on the pastry and short on the divine filling. A pleasant evening with agreeable food and excellent service, but we've done better nearby.

Pleasant experience with professional servers, managers and cooks adding to the experience. Overall excellent quality. Very nice burgers, salads, and fish dishes. Great ambience—can enjoy either the bar area or the restaurant itself. Enjoyed it!

This was my first time dining in the Pine Room at Hotel Roanoke. The host gave me a warm welcome and took me to my table. The place atmosphere was relaxing yet at the same time sofisticated. It has an open kitchen so you can see the food being made. My server Penny provided me with excellent customer service. She answered all the questions I had about the menu. I started with a Caesar salad, which was extraordinary. For my main course, I had the Slow Roasted Pork Shank. It looked and tasted amazing. And for dessert, I had the Baked Freeform Fruit Pie with Honey Ice Cream and Caramel on top. The chef Erin did an excellent job preparing a delicious dinner for me. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a relaxing dining experience in a comfortable and amusing environment.

I can’t say enough good things about Penny. She was wonderful taking care of me and my 92 year old companion. He’s a local and always brings his friends to you. Take note of James (Jim) Cavanaugh. In March, a large group of us booked your PDR to have a reunion with Jim and most of us stayed with you. That booking was under Gregory. But Jim is your local promoter

Took a while for someone to seat us even though the restaurant was empty. Sat outside and had to clean the chairs as it appeared that the table was wiped off onto the chairs. The food was good, but everyone that worked there-seemed less than enthusiastic.
