A Toronto staple, The Pilot was established in Yorkville in 1944. We have a ground floor bar and dining areas, a private event space on our second floor and a large rooftop patio.

We're open our main floor and rooftop patio starting at 11am, 7 days a week.

The Pilot takes reservations online & over the phone. We also leave space for walk-in guests.

The rooftop patio is perfect for a summer day. We had a table that was covered but with a breeze, so the sun wasn't beating down on us. There were a bit understaffed. The bartender had to help the only server, so was double-duty making drinks and taking orders. Had a fun time as always.

Service was great, we went for brunch. But the food…. They sat us right infront of a door and beside one and it was windy, we mentioned it to them that we would like to move and they partially closed the door which j didn’t help as much as we hoped so we hsut moved to a another spot our selves. I had mentioned we needed a gluten free to our server who was super friendly and attentive, he said yes we have gluten free toast. You can either do smoked salmon or avocado toast. The hashbrowns are cooked in an oil that has wheat All the bacon, sausage or any meats have wheat so they would substitute it for fruit. - after about 12 minutes from placing the order, our server came back and said instead of thr hash-browns would we be ok with salad So it would be $28 for 2 eggs on lettuce and 5 pieces of fruit plus for the gluten free toast. **I called prior to booking reservations that they have gluten free options and they said yes we have lots and we can make almost anything gluten free My veggie friends didn’t have an issue. But if you’re celiac and want brunch I’m not sure if this is the spot, it’s great for drinks and super friendly service, our host and server 10/10

One of the best brunches in Toronto. Highly recommend the veggie scramble, not too much feta and the veggies were done PERFECTLY. If you love feta (I do not) I would suggest asking for a littlle extra. Excellent service, amazing food, the iced coffee was just right. This was a first date for two soccer lovers so I recommend catching a game on the rooftop. Tons of TV visibility and just a great vibe overall. Super reasonable prices, too!

I was there on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and we sat on the roof top patio. The atmosphere was pleasant, we were covered when it rained and there were numerous tvs playing the soccer game. The food was decent, I had an eggs Benedict which was prepared properly. It was a normal, enjoyable experience, nothing exceptional.

A really nice brunch menu, with good food selections. I had The Morning After brunch selection, consisting of eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash. It was good, but there should be an option for less hash, and more fruit/vegetables. I asked for this, and all I got was 6 extra watermelon slices. Nothing else. Otherwise service was good. The location isn't great due to lots of construction next door. This makes the front patio difficult, since there's lots of noise. In addition, there's really only limited parking nearby. It was a struggle to find parking.
