    A wonderful inn in a postcard perfect village. Would thoroughly recommend - and the pizzas are fabulous

    Totally overpriced. Food took ages to arrive and was not great considering how much we paid. Our waitress was lovely and working very hard in a very busy and noisy atmosphere. A nice old pub that has gotten carried away with the incessant overpricing due to it being a popular tourist spot. Would only recommend for one drink and move on really. Even that is pushing it at £10 for a vodka and lemonade.

We had an exceptionally busy weekend, and we apologise if your food took longer to arrive than expected. Regarding the vodka and lemonade, unless you had a double shot, the price should be £6, which is considerably lower than what you mentioned. It’s possible you were accidentally overcharged.     The Pig's Nose is always great, and so are the staff. It's our happy place! The pizzas have reached perfection level, in consistency and toppings.

    Food was mediocre and overdone and overpriced. Preferred it when they just did pies - simple but so good. Wait time was over an hour. Could have been a longer wait had it not been for friendly locals. I'd only recommend for the beer and the atmosphere.

    Friendly staff and very welcoming. We had our dog with us and he was welcome too. Food was lovely, I had the fish and chips and my partner had the beef, both lovely and a large portion of fish and chips.

    A wonderful, local pub that came well recommended. The atmosphere inside filled with local people, was warm and welcoming. If only thats where we had been. We booked to eat outside under cover, which it turned out, is where everyone gathers to smoke. The food took an hour to arrive even though very few appeared to be eating. One meal was inedible and had to be returned. We were fully refunded. The other was edible but nowhere near as exciting as the description on the menu led us to expect. Go here to drink and be merry. Do not bother ordering food.

    You were one of the most difficult customers we have ever had enter our doors. To start, you ordered a steak dish with no steak and then complained that it was basic. The whole meal, as recorded, was completed within an hour. I'm not sure how fish & chips on the menu can be more exciting than fish & chips. After conducting an investigation, we also found that you visited the bar and mildly threatened our staff. You received your refund, and we cooked the dish to the point it was pretty much cremated, yet you still complained it was raw. At your request, the mushrooms ended up being in the oven for over 30 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius—there is absolutely no way they were undercooked. It is also unfair to blame us for people who chose to smoke, as this is out of our control.
