The dedicated team of chefs and staff work hard to ensure that the foodie roots remain firmly grounded. The food served is local, fresh, innovative, and always delicious. The establishment is family-friendly and a great place to eat and come to for celebrating special occasions.

This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

There were four of us, my husband and I, then a mother and daughter who are business associates. We have heard rave reviews for this place but have to say we were all thoroughly disappointed. The menu was very limited as so many are now a days. "The Pig" references were a bit childish and everywhere from the walls, to the menus, to the decorations. It was very busy but it is just another over priced North Norfolk Pub that has been taken over by the "London Set" pushing prices up and not really a cosy, welcoming place or atmosphere. The mother and daughter used to live just up the road so had frequented it regularly under previous owners, but they felt it had really gone down hill. I just don't understand all the hype about the place, very underwhelming, we all said we would not recommend and definitely would not return.

First time there, lovely place with friendly obliging staff. They were very accommodating of our child with special needs. Food was nice but unfortunately I ordered the poached eggs on flatbread which were cooked hard and spoilt the dish somewhat. Would definitely go back but order differently, the others had lovely meals, the burger type stacks and ham, egg and chips, all were enjoyed. Deserts were especially nice if a bit expensive. We had the Piggy Mess which was loads of cream, cheesecake and a children's brownie with ice cream. These were all delicious. I do think that without the Norfolk Passport discount its all a bit overpriced but I suppose it reflects the holidaymaker area.

Menus were left in our room. We decided what to have to eat only to find when we reached the running room that there an abridged menu and what we wanted was not available.

It took over an hour for our main course to arrive and some was overcooked when it did? A real pity as we had really been looking forward to the meal out.

Excellent service, food and price. Consistently at a high level. Great bonus to also have the Norfolk Passport which gives a 10% discount off the whole bill

It was our first time at The Pigs for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. We had the roast pork and the half a chicken. It was very flavoursome and we will definitely revisit.

Food was average have had nicer meals at other places , not exceptional like we had heard about. Got ignored when we first arrived by a group of lads who work there who were more interested in chatting and talking crap / banter than serving customers. If I didn’t have a booking, I would have left before I was even served. Customer service on arrival is very important. Wasn’t even acknowledged. Won’t be recommending or rushing back shame really. Our waitress was very lovely though she saved the visit really.
