At The Pigs, good, honest food is served. You’ll feel the culinary heartbeat pumping through the pub at The Pigs. The dedicated team of chefs and staff work hard to ensure that the foodie roots remain firmly grounded. The food served is local, fresh, innovative, and always delicious. The establishment is family-friendly and a great place to eat and come to for celebrating special occasions.

This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

We ate here after visiting Thursford Christmas Spectacular. We were staying at Byfords and had eaten there the previous evening so had an idea what to expect. On this particular evening we opted to just have main courses . The food was delicious and the chef even accommodated a specific request from one of our party which was much appreciated. However , the service was not as good as Byfords. The team were fairly young and a couple of them seemed more interested in standing at the bar chatting than actually serving and making sure all ok with diners . No golden ticket given either , I had to ask .

Our evening meal & breakfast (after a perfectly relaxing overnight stay) we delicious. The staff were welcoming, everywhere was clean and the dedication to the branding of pigs everywhere was brilliant!!… the little piggy butters topped it ☺️👌🏼🐷

Lovely Sunday roast. The meat was amazing, so tender and flavoursome. Would highly recommend.

Tried new Brumch offering, which starts from 8am, so arriving at 11am meant being seated in the secondary room with lots of light but no heating in Nov...this meant beverages and Full English got cold swiftly, fried eggs from soft to rubbery. Service was slow, probably cos of busy main dining area. An average brekky

Can highly recommend The Pig Event, for 2 or more to share, emphasis on more!!. The 2 of us were stuffed but very happy, although disappointed there was no room for dessert.

I visit Norfolk twice a year and a highlight of each visit is a meal at The Pigs. My favourite Pub Restaurant in the country. The Belly Pork is the best I have ever tasted and my favourite. Although every meal at the Pigs is superb

Review for The Pig I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pig, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enchanted by the warm and rustic ambience. The setting strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Surrounded by lush greenery and thoughtful decor, the space creates a truly magical dining experience. The food, however, is where The Pig truly shines. Every dish we sampled was a testament to their commitment to locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and beautifully presented, with each bite showcasing the chef’s creativity and attention to detail. From perfectly cooked mains to indulgent desserts, the menu was a delicious journey from start to finish. The roast was very disappointing it was Luke warm the potatoes were inedible they had been reheated and deep fried with fat running out of them and you couldn’t cut them. The sitting area was dirty blinds full of dust stains on seats. Not worth the money.
