Nice restaurant situated in a wonderful hotel, choice of different rooms to eat in. We had Sunday lunch for a family of 6 with 2 children. We had different plates but everyone enjoyed themselves.

Fabulous food. All 5 of us had the Indian burger and it was outstanding. Very large portions. Service was fab. Very attentive waiter. Great selection of drinks and cocktails. Will definitely be back

Very, very disappointed on this second Father's Day visit. This experience was different from our first, where we purchased the same Sunday Roast deal, as yesterday, we were left feeling very short-changed. On our first visit, there were three of us and we had potatoes and veg a plenty, including broccoli. On this occasion, sadly, we were flabbergasted that the vegetable platter that accompanied our main plate was not even extensive in choice, but also very clearly not enough for three people, and most definitely not enough for the four of us. We felt the female who served us was not very empathetic to our complaint about the sparseness of the vegetable platter, and she went as far as leading us to believe extra would be provided at no cost, only for us to find out, on receiving our bill, that this was not the case and we had been charged for two extra platters. I have stayed at The Yorkshire Hotel on a few occasions, so have eaten on days besides Sundays and have had no issues with the food nor staff, in fact, I'd go so far as to say previous visits to the Pickled Sprout have been super. This one was extremely disappointing, as well as embarrassing, with me having talked your establishment up so highly; this left me to apologise to my niece, and regretting inviting her. This will be my last visit to The Pickled Sprout, which is such a pity, considering it is one of around only three or four of the non-dog friendly establishments in Harrogate.

We love coming to the Pickled Sprout. We had lunch before heading on to the theatre. The lunchtime menu and service are fabulous. The food is always first class. We shall be back 👍

The food was pretty basic for the price. Genuinely seemed as though the pâté was from a supermarket, and the fish was a bit tasteless. Won’t be rushing back but was convenient in the hotel.
