                                                        A great little find, food, service and staff were excellent. The onion soup was amazing and the roast potatoes were that perfect mix of crunchy and soft.

                                                        Sunday lunch the only thing that tasted good was the gravy, ask for lamb told me it’s red so I said will have the chicken,she said it’s ok we can do it to how u like it, it came out red no body came to ask how it was till we finished, she took lamb back it was better but made me gag, veg was so hard, cauliflower cheese was lovely and cheese but cauliflower was still hard , only 3 things on the dessert, 2 meals and 2 cokes and cauliflower cheese £50.50 very expensive for under cooked meet and veg ,

                                                        Spur of the moment booking. The chicken and leek pie was best I've had for years. Proper pie, not just a hat. Mash, veg and gravy were also very tasty. Great place. We'll be back

                                                        Had a lovely meal with friends, although there was a slight problem with one meal, it was soon rectified with no questions asked.

                                                        The food was very good indeed. The place was very relaxed and it was very dog friendly in the part we were sitting. It was busy when we arrived at 7pm with locals and families but closed rather earlier than we had hoped with last orders at 9pm. This was a little disappointing as we had arranged to meet an old friend for a meal and a catch up but we were the only ones remaining at this point so fair enough but I recommend going earlier rather than later. All the food was delicious, so strongly recommend!
