The Pheasant is a traditional thatched pub restaurant nestled in the Cambridgeshire countryside at the heart of the beautiful village of Keyston located 15 miles from Huntingdon or just 4.5 miles from Raunds. Honest, fresh, and locally sourced food forms part of the modern British menu with a twist complemented by an extensive yet eclectic wine list.

What makes The Pheasant stand out is its two beautiful but very different areas inside for guests to choose from. In the relaxed yet bustling bar with an open fire, comfy chairs, and bar stools you will find a selection of real ales, cocktails, and mocktails as well as the extensive wine list and bar snacks. Alternatively, the recently redecorated bright and airy restaurant at the back of the building with views over the country garden and surrounding fields sets the scene for a romantic dinner or family or business lunch and is ever popular.

    Well presented meals from an imaginative menu. Excellent wine and drinks list. I particularly liked the dessert drinks choice. Quiet village location with plenty of outside space and parking

    Lovely location with large garden area and warm welcome. Excellent ingredients- wonderful flavours and good range of choice.

    Very disappointed in the price hikes. Been several times over the past few months and loved it. The offer of 2 courses and a glass of wine for £27.50 has gone. Instead there is a broccoli and courgette dish for £22.95. How can that be justified? We took some friends and it was highly embarrassing. A small portion of pork belly ( a cheap cut) for £23.95. Veg is another £4.95. I’m sad to say we won’t be returning

    Lovely meal on a Monday night. Excellent service and thoroughly recommend the katsu scallops if you get the chance to try them. They were delicious. So lucky to have this restaurant near us and to see it thriving under the new management.

    What a find. Absolutely stunning pub. A warm welcome from behind the bar as we walked in, the young man behind the bar was very good. A great wine list, some lovely snacks and the menu was great as well.

    First time visiting and overall very impressed. The food was excellent and the service just as good. Great value for money also. Highly recommended.
