Cosy and intimate casual fine dining restaurant, serving up superb local produce, fine wines, cocktails and delivering great service.

Based on Saltaire's bustling main road, it's at the heart of this World Heritage site.

Please note, due to the type of building, we are limited with disabled access. We can offer access on the main floor, but our toilet facilities are located on the first floor.

Really delicious Sunday lunch, good portions, well cooked and truly tasty beef. Side of cauliflower cheese was delicious. Great service too and excellent value.

We came to the pepper mill for the first time for a Sunday roast (beef) as my daughter had been the week before and had reccomended it. We were not dissapointed. Beautifully cooked and very nicely presented with a generously sized side portion of cauliflower cheese. The beef was cooked to perfection, pink, and our waiter was attentive and friendly. We will most certainly make a return visit. An outstanding Sunday roast , which is hard to find 😃.

Lovely little restaurant located right in the centre of charming village of Saltaire. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food as always is very tasty and with a little twist. Definitely worth visiting.

Excellent menu choices based on a theme - each course had the name of a country so eg Italian, Spanish etc. Recipes and ingredients then included typical items from that country such as Nduja sausage or Paella. There were 5 of us and between us we tried 4 different starters and main courses. All were pronounced delicious. No one had room for dessert or coffee. Really good value for money on a Thursday evening, 2 courses cost just under £30 which is exceptional for that quality and choice.

We had a very nice meal, I thought it a little expensive. But we enjoyed it. I made a poor choice of desert, my fault, it was a bit heavy, for a chocolate mouse, as it was a slab of a chocolate mixture as it's centre peice, beautifully presented throughout.
