This restaurant is a little pricy but the food is amazing!!! I lived my meal- mussels w/the most delicious broth.

Awesome experience. The food couldn’t be any better - they nailed every dish. Our server was super personal and amazing. This was our first visit and we plan to go back now every time we visit msu!

Amazing food and impeccable service. Came here on a whim from Ann Arbor to celebrate our mom's birthday. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Returning for sure and I wish we lived closer to The People's Kitchen! Great job!

We've been there twice and both times our meals were outstanding. Took my daughter and her husband, who no longer live in the area. She said it was the best restaurant in Lansing. My son-in-law said the best Caesar salad he's ever had. Had our server, Alec (?) both times and she is so personable. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic every time!! The service was great, water glass was never empty, appetizer came out quick and was delicious, and the main dish (scallops) was perfection. Went on a Friday night and walked right in.

Good food. More expensive than anticipated. Portions on smaller side but everything very tasty and service was great. Would for sure go back.

We were celebrating my granddaughter’s 17th birthday. The tempura asparagus appetizer was superb. The tempura coating was crispy, not greasy and the asparagus still firm. My granddaughter had the fried green tomatoes also very good. My scallops were cooked to perfection and the grits with jalapeño honey were flavorful without being overly spicy. My daughter enjoyed the risotto with shrimp, chorizo and mussels. My son-in-law had the steak burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. Our server Alac M was attentive without being overbearing. It was a great evening.
