Le restaurant THE PENTHOUSE de l'hôtel The Huntley vous accueille dans un cadre ultra-lounge à couper le souffle, avec des cabanes de plage, des espaces à ciel ouvert, des comptoirs argentés et des bougies nues. Le célèbre designer Thomas Schoos (connu pour son travail dans des restaurants tels que le Koi et le TAO New York/Las Vegas) a fait équipe avec le chef exécutif Kevin Meyer pour manifester une nouvelle célébration visuelle des sens. Le Penthouse propose un menu américain contemporain avec des influences mondiales audacieuses. Le chef Meyer s'inspire de la cuisine de France, d'Espagne et d'autres pays pour présenter un menu qui combine des ingrédients de saison provenant des marchés de producteurs de Santa Monica avec des ingrédients uniques venus du monde entier. I’ve never been treated so badly by a valet person in my entire life. It most certainly ruined everything that happened thereafter. Rude. Aside from that the food was fine as usual. Waiter was attentive for the most part. The duck my mom ordered was less than ideal and was a really small portion. The worst thing this time, I’ve been there maybe a 6-7 times, aside from the rude valet persons was the noise. It was so loud that we would continuously have to lean in over the table to hear each other speak. Was difficult if not impossible to have a normal conversation. I don’t recall it ever being this loud before but usually we’re in a booth. Anyway. For $25 valet and a $400 meal I think it’s a reasonable expectation to be treated with respect and kindness by all parties associated with the restaurant including the valet service.

Special Birthday Dinner for my wife. They did it right. Server was attentive, no real complaints, but he seemed distracted. Food was outstanding, had the fish and the steak. Sides were delicious. Dessert came with a big sparkler. All in all, a righteous night and celebration.

My lady and I had the best time as always. The Penthouse is our absolute favorite, from the food to the views and staff. Couldn't be better. Thank you all for making our experiences there worth every penny. The added birthday flair was a nice treat for my lady and I. See you all soon.

Food was great but the table/area we had dinner at we couldn’t see sunset and was very noisy felt like a cafeteria. The tables on the sunset side (cabanas and lounge sofas) are nicely situated and quiet and have a great view. Bar area is also nice.

This restaurant experience was truly fabulous in every way. The lovely hostess seated us in a beautiful, spacious booth with a killer view. The drinks and the food were excellent. Our server, Brandon, did an excellent job as well. It was a memorable birthday brunch! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.
