The Pelican Inn is a quaint, late 17th century pub with a warm, cosy atmosphere along with eight comfortable bedrooms and a friendly welcome guaranteed. We're proud to offer great food and real ales in our spacious bar and restaurant areas, as well as ensuite accommodation - all at superb value. We're also just 8 miles from junction 14 of the M4, making our pub the perfect meeting place for work or simply a relaxing spot to watch the ducks, read the newspaper and watch the world go by.

Will not be returning. Food was awful & overpriced. Half of the menu was not available.

Sadly the food was awful - most of it cold, some of it burnt. We could not recommend and would not revisit.

Lovely pub with a great menu, some bits on the pricier side of things but mostly good value and all high quality. Great location, nice garden and the perfect destination for some refuelling on a nice country walk!

Lamb tough and vegetables cold. Chicken snitzels over cooked, although the chips were good. One person covering bar and restaurant. Could not cope although restaurant was not busy nor the bar. I'm sure our food kept getting forgotten, perhaps why mine cold. Despite football match on, not many people watching it, so unless server was watching football, perhaps why so slow. At times we felt as though forgotten. If you want a nice hot meal try somewhere else. Also this was midweek so no pressure.

The staff need to be more attended to customers as we were sat waiting for at least 20 minutes waiting to please our order and then when we did it was wrong

Good food, a tad over cooked Arrincini. Single waitress clearly overwhelmed by one booking of 6. Very pleasant but was just left on her own and main order taken wrongly resulting in whole different meal being cooked. We were the only eating table which was surprising, and only saw 4 other people which was sad. Definitely would go again but would advise 2 instead of one staff to cope as unfair on the lovely waitress.

Delicious Sunday roast for Father’s Day. Windows don’t open which made it warm. Service a bit slow but it was a busy day. Lovely décor inside and two huge car parks.
