Not as good as past experiences. The fish was good but my oysters not as good as usual. Buckeye pie was terrific but we had to wait for a very long time. Service was really slow. Wine good but expensive. Asked to be seated away from other tables so it would be quieter but that advantage only lasted a short while. Definitely don’t sit inside if you want to talk. Last night was a real disappointment but I hope it was an exception as we’ve had a great time always before.

Our first experience at The Pearl. Food was scrumptious and the service was on point and pleasant. Everything we ate was GF, some of it surprising to be GF and all had great texture, taste, quality. The fried, whole dill pickles were amazing with a crunchy, tasty GF coating and a generous portion. The deviled eggs were good, just wish it had been more than two total eggs. The GF fish n chips hit the spot perfectly and had a flavorful, crunchy battered that was surprising for GF. Hanger steak was good. The GF pumpkin spice, crunch and cookie desert was simply the best part of the whole meal! Holt, our server was patient, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Food and decor was fantastic. But not clearing a table and responses like “whatever the menu says”. Isn’t a great response when being asked a question. Overall great experience but staff brought the experience done a notch.

We enjoyed the Pearl for both the service and the food. They were also helpful changing the reservation at the last minute when a local event was canceled.

The food was substandard for what they are charging even knowing they have huge rent fees on Water Street. Wait staff very friendly but disappeared at times. Atmosphere is the best part. Probably a great spot to just have a couple cocktails at the bar and head out for food elsewhere.

The food was excellent but for a restaurant serving $40-50 entrees the noise level was extremely loud.

We had an 8pm reservation for outside, because that was all we could get. However, before I even asked, the hostess was looking for an indoor table, and found one, which was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their cocktail and food. We ordered the Seafood Tower and split it 3 ways, which was perfect for 3 ladies. I asked for some tartar sauce, and they have a great one! I want the recipe! One of us also had the Thai mussels, which was really good. We had the brown sugar pie and pumpkin cheesecake thingy for dessert. Both were excellent. Like a lot of new restaurants the noise level is loud. I don't know why all these restaurants don't employ some noise reduction insulation. Oh well, other than that it was delightful.
