Located in the heart of Bala, Muskoka, The Pearl is a destination food market during the day & vibin snack bar at night where “old country” and contemporary intersect. Led by a team of culinary experts, focused on mixing flavor-driven cuisine with the simplicity and comforts of cottage life.

What started as a vision of a cool, welcoming spot in the heart of Muskoka was then explored, researched and fine-tuned by TOBEN Hospitality Group owners Toben Kochman, Elana Kochman and Ryan Feldman. After putting their heads together and harmonizing their ideas, they arrived at The Pearl.

The Dinner Menu at the Pearl continuously evolves and focuses on communal eats in the form of small & large share plates or "tapas". It is the perfect atmosphere for guests to disconnect from their day and reconnect with one another.

    Excellent food. Menu good. White wine was lukewarm cool, needs a better refrigerator. 2 weeks in a row, had to ask for ice to cool it down. Server was slow in the ice. Ambience good.

    I’ve been to The Pearl a few times and after each time I can honestly say it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Muskoka!! Delicious food and love that the outdoor seating is covered for rain or shine!

    The thing I most dislike about current restaurants is 1. QR code menus, which do not allow me to peruse the whole menu at once and put items together. And 2. being told when I sit down that I only have the table for an hour and 15 minutes. wow the food and service in this restaurant were very good. I will not make a return visit.

    The Pearl was fabulous. All of the food is meant to be served tapas style so you can order a good variety to share as a group. Everything was extremely delicious. They were very acomadating with allergies and the food came quickly. Highly recommend!!

    Food was excellent. The only truly gourmet fare in the area. The setting was relaxed and warm. The service was very attentive although we were pushed along timing-wise a little. Some mosquito control would be good. Great experience overall

    Cute place in Muskoka. Food was ok...nothing mind blowing though. And while our server was very nice, she let us order 2 similar dishes without telling us that they were similar so, we were pretty disappointed with that. Won't rush to go back.

    We were so impressed with the food - and the wait staff were trying very hard on a very busy night. We will be back soon!
