Nestled on the shores of Pearl Harbor, The Pearl Restaurant at Leeward Community College is a student operated establishment with a passion for serving our guests an amazing contemporary, fine dining experience. The heartbeat of our operation revolves around our students, being able to showcase their creative culinary artistry and talents, along with providing the warmth of genuine hospitality.
While it may seem like we are a normal restaurant, The Pearl is primarily a place of learning for our culinary students. Their education is our priority and we do our best, with limited resources, to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests. During a pandemic it is difficult to operate at maximum efficiency and capacity. We have very limited seating, and we need extra time to carefully prepare our kitchen and dining area for your safety. We appreciate your understanding as we try to manage our reservations and adhere to our safety requirements and guidelines.

Loved the creativity of the dishes which were beautifully executed. Also, nice to have the students in front of house to share about their program and course of education, as well as in the kitchen. Great way to support rising culinary students while getting four star restaurant quality food for a very reasonable cost for lunch.

Dining at The Pearl was an incredibly pleasant and enjoyable experience. The portion sizes were perfect in the food delicious. I highly recommend the Pearl for a wonderful dining experience.

the sauce for the fresh catch was too spicy. The pork chop was way overcooked and dried out to the point where it was hard to cut.

I love the people at this venue, students and staff. The Pearl has great feng shui. Unique experience brings peaceful ambience and polite exchanges to and from both customers and students/staff. The food is excellent. Creative and detailed variety of dishes prepared with a mix of quality ingredients and execution. The student servers are trained how to deliver excellent table service and their efforts to learn bring additional pleasure and charm to your dining experience. This is my favorite place to have a fine dining experience.

Food was excellent. Well seasoned. Menu created by students very well done both in variety and in consideration of the season. Best course was the rack of venison with fall vegetables. Meal is definitely worth the value. Would definitely return.
