Very good food. But as we’re seeing at all of the National Park eateries, it’s very pricey. One strange experience here: we ordered a beer and a bottle of wine - intending to drink a glass or two at the table and take the remainder of the bottle back to our room. Our waiter said we were allowed to take the remainder. But then he informed us that the company only allowed him to serve up to 2 drinks per person. Since it was a table for two, we couldn’t have a beer and a bottle of wine. If there had been another diner at the table with us, we could have done it. What in the world???

Check in was easy, room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was perfect for a quick bit. We had dinner there, food was good and price was reasonable. Definitely one of the better hotels in the parks.

A solid dining option. Staff is very friendly, food competently prepared. The burgers are excellent, the trout a bit more pedestrian. Wine list is very limited, but overall this is a very nice and convenient option for park visitors.

My husband had the stuffed acorn squash. The squash was a bit bland, it probably needs marinade or some type of seasoning. The quinoa was excellent. I had the filet mignon which was delicious and fairly priced. Definitely stop here for sunset and allow the non-mountain drivers sort themselves out without you— because driving south on these hairpin turns is a nightmare with people head-on in your lane.

Our server was terrible! We did not receive our starters, was not offered any refills and when he finally brought the check and asked how everything was, I told him he never brought our starters and he said he knew and he removed them from our ticket and was there anything else. I asked for a chocolate torte with ice cream to go. I took forever but when he did bring it was on a plate. I told him it was a to go order and he said my bad and when he brought it back I said where is the ice cream and he said oh we are out.

The peaks is a great place. Easy to make reservations, food was excellent service was great. Definitely happy we tried it.

Husband's ribeye steak was excellent. I ordered trout almondine, which was amazing! We shared a mountain berry pie a la mode, which was out of this world!

A wonderful (and the only) spot to get an excellent meal in/near Sequoia National Park. Pleasant surroundings, courteous staff, and excellent food. Be sure to make reservations!
