The Peacock is an art deco-inspired setting with distinct spaces on each floor - spanning 12,000 sq ft. We offer something for everyone at any time of day. The main dining will be open from 11:30a.m. - 10 p.m. daily for lunch, and dinner (and stays open until 2 a.m. for cocktails). Our second-floor peacock lounge opens daily at 5 p.m. and stays open until 2 a.m. Also on the second floor, you will find V's our entertainment space where you can see a show or have a VIP experience dancing the night away. Finally, experience the splendor of a Charleston evening from our rooftop bar/lounge. We also offer three VIP areas for reservations on the roof (they seat 10-12 people and have private TVs). Come for a meal, watch a sunset or stay for a show whatever you choose you're sure to make it a habit!

This was our first time eating at Peacock. The food was delicious and we loved the restaurant. We were disappointed with 2 things. I made the reservation through Open table and had added a special note that it was our 35th wedding anniversary. I also asked if we could get a table in the corner for a bit of privacy. When we arrived the restaurant was completely open. Nobody were sitting at tables just the bar. We were seated at a table (not in a corner) but I didn't say anything because there were no other patrons near us. About 10 minutes after being seated we had a table of 4 seated next to us. There were plenty of other tables available. The tables in this restaurant are really close to one another. Also, I was a bit disappointed that our anniversary wasn't acknowledged. It was our 35th and a special one. But overall, we would go again. :) Kim

We had a large party of friends (10 people) and the restaurant could accommodate us no problem! The service was great and the food was delicious! We can't wait to come back and try the other 2 levels - including the rooftop bar.

Good food and service. The only issue was there was a party or something going on upstairs and there was constant screaming.

We came to Charleston to celebrate my MIL 60th and retirement. It was so hard to find a restaurant that would take 12 guests. Peacock did, and everyone raved about the food. They were very accommodating since we had kids with us. We couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was each person got. If you’re readying this- BOOK THE RESERVATION! Oh, and then go to the rooftop for another drink or take a picture!

Just lovely - the staff, the decor, and the food. I had blackened salmon and risotto which I highly recommend. My young adult daughter had a burger and fries which she also loved - but could have done without the pickles! We each had a “Daisy Buchanon” cocktail, with passion fruit and tequila. Super refreshing during a South Carolina heatwave! I’d go back here in a minute.

Food was to die for! I had the burrata and it was amazing, the burger and farm salad were great as well. Service was a little slow but it seemed busy so that’s understandable. The atmosphere was probably the best part as the decor was adorable and there was really good live music. Definitely recommend getting a reservation, we made one 10 minutes before and were fine, but would not have gotten in without one. Overall great experience!

Wonderful restaurant. Our server (I believe her name was Katie) was exceptional & deserves a raise. She was just perfect!! And the food was soooo tasty

Our celebration was nice. The ambiance inside of the restaurant was perfect! Outside on the rooftop was fine for the first hour, but then it became a bit noisy as more college aged students came to drink and enjoy the sunset. Thought there would be a better overall view of downtown, but it’s okay. The food was hot and had lots of flavor. The lamb lollipops and steak skewers were so tender and flavorful. Expected higher quality chocolates for the Chocolate Habit dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our celebration and will be back to try other dishes.

While visiting Charleston we made a reservation here. The ambiance and food were very good. Great atmosphere and the musician playing that night was great! We went to the rooftop afterwards for a drink and it was a nice space and the lovely young man serving us was the BEST! Now - here is my complaint - when we walked in and the hostess greeted us - she was truly rude. Instead of greeting us with a friendly “hello and welcome to the Peacock!” We got, “ your reservation was at 6:15pm and we have a 15 minute grace period.” My response, “It’s 6:29pm, within the grace period.” She then proceeded to lecture us on what we should do if we were running late! And mind you - the place was EMPTY!!!!! No one was waiting for a table and when we left there were so many tables still open. So why the lecture?!! I hope she’s not a manager because it won’t be long for the restaurant to close. Customer service is valued by patrons - not lectures. I’m not sure we will be back. If so, it will be for a drink on the roof with the wonderful, hospitable & absolutely lovely young man!
