Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.
Special dietary requirements are all happily catered for. Please advise when making your reservation.

We dine at this lovely country pub every time we travel from Chesterfield to Norwich and we are never disappointed with the meals or the service. Our only complaint would be that our primary choice from the menu is often unavailable.

The service was quick and staff were polite and friendly. The food was delicious and good value for money using the lunchtime meal deal.

Always love eating here the food is delicious and plenty of it Only thing negative i have to say we had to ask several times for a jug of water and they had run out of jugs so we got a glass each but it no big problem Otherwise an enjoyable experience

The food was delicious and the serving staff were all more than pleasant. The tables are quite close together - which means ambient noise is a bit of a problem. I would like to see a separate dining area for people who bring their dogs. All in all we had a lovely evening - and will certainly return.

We had a lovely lunch skate wing,was cooked to perfection. Staff as usual were friendly and chatty.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Helpful staff, good selection of beer. Excellent vegan options, Desert was good.

Four adults all requested roast meals which arrived quite promptly. Very sparse with the gravy so we asked for more, then realised every table around us also asked for more gravy. Why not send enough to begin with. My husbands Guinness arrived with no head at all so he returned it. The guy behind the bar said he didn’t think it looked right - should really have corrected it before sending it to the table. Other than that, the food was hot and veg was plentiful. Choices for roast were good. No starters or desserts so can’t comment.
