Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.
Special dietary requirements are all happily catered for. Please advise when making your reservation.

The staff were very pleasant. My husband raved about the Game Pie and delicious vegetables. I enjoyed the stone bass on the special menu and overall it was a tasty, wholesome meal. .

First time dining at the Parson Woodforde and it was an absolute pleasure. The service was very good and the food was excellent. No wonder it was busy for a rural pub on a weekday lunchtime. The whitebait starter was really tasty, and the stone bass main course was both generous and perfectly cooked, with delicious seasonal accompaniments. Summer pudding is a delight when well made, and this was a 10 out of 10 for flavour and presentation. The 2 and 3 course lunch menus are a bargain - book a table soon!

Wonderful experience at this lovely little pub It was a very busy Wednesday evening but despite the many diners the staff were wonderful, calm ,efficient and friendly. The food was very good Will not hesitate to go ahead and recommend to others

Had a lamb roast this evening, food was amazing, presented and cooked lovely, service and atmosphere was brilliant, will definitely be coming back 😋

We absolutely loved our overnight stay and meal, the food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it. Service was spot on. The owners were so welcoming. Would definitely come back

Looking forward to dining there as it had been recommended but our visit was disappointing Special menu which had 3 items on it one item sold out another 1 left Main menu was disappointing for us perhaps we had expected more exciting choices Food was just ok

The service received when visiting was warm, friendly and very efficient. The food was first class. Portion sizes were just right. The meats were delicious, flavourful and Cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend a visit. I will certainly be returning! Thank you to everyone at the Parson Woodforde for a very pleasant evening.
