If you are not already familiar with us, we are a 240 seat, historic restaurant in downtown Stratford, 1 block from the Avon. We have lots of free, easily accessible parking. Our dining room consists of beautiful woodwork and stained glass, reminiscent of the 1800's when the building was originally built. We have a number of private dining rooms available for groups of 20 to 100 people.

Very disappointing, as previous visits were enjoyable. It took 90 minutes for our food to arrive. Pork chop was good, as was the fish & chips, but the flank steak was full of gristle and a smaller potion than expected. At least we were comped dessert because of the long wait.

Ambiance is beautiful for a dinner before a show. Service is slow so expect to stay a while. Prime rib a great choice.

The Parlour Inn is my favourite restaurant in Stratford. I love the fact that there are no televisions to distract you. It has a beautiful ambience that allows a couple, families, or friends to have great conversations without having to yell while enjoying excellent selections of foods, beverages, and desserts. I have yet to have any issues with staff or with what I have ordered. It is a clean and spacious restaurant that truly caters to their customers having a fantastic experience. I have yet to have anything negative happen, and I do not foresee anything negative happening in the future.

We were four at dinner and we each tried something different. One had the special - the prime rib which was excellent; one had the fish and chips which was pronounced flaky and delicious; one had the salmon and the person said it was the best salmon they'd ever had. I had the tagliatelle with chicken and it was also delicious and very generously sized portion. The only drawback for me and my husband was the Malbec wine we ordered. Neither of us enjoyed it. I found it too acidic. Perhaps we should have alerted the server and asked for a different wine. We had each ordered an 8 oz glass. Other than that, our meal was great.

We had a great booth like table in their gorgeous dining room. The food was excellent and the portions were so large none of the four of us could finish our meals. Our server Alice was very attentive. The dessert is why I would for sure go back again !

The atmosphere and food were fantastic. The lunch menu was a little pricy and limited. Overall awesome experience.

Wait staff were very friendly and efficient. They were attentive to our needs, especially our time constraints to make it to the Play on time.
