If you are not already familiar with us, we are a 240 seat, historic restaurant in downtown Stratford, 1 block from the Avon. We have lots of free, easily accessible parking. Our dining room consists of beautiful woodwork and stained glass, reminiscent of the 1800's when the building was originally built. We have a number of private dining rooms available for groups of 20 to 100 people.

We had an excellent meal at this beautiful venue. The food was delicious and the service quick and friendly. We will definitely return.

I ordered the 10oz steak and my wife the chicken. The steak was delicious but the au jus was more like gravy and it was too salty. The chicken was perfect. The mashed potatoes were average. We both ordered lemonade but it was too tart for us. Overall we had a very delightful meal.

Great food , wonderful service, ambience was amazing would definitely recommend, will revisit in near future as this was our first time here thanx so much you made our fifth wedding anniversary celebration special!

Mushroom crostini was excellent in flavour with lots of mushrooms. Fish and chips were very good. The salmon was excellent as were the accompanying fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Friendly, efficient service in a very relaxing atmosphere

Burgers were good, nachos were too sweet with the bbq sauce they poured over them, specialty dessert was ok. Took an hour to receive our food.

The parlour was everything I expected and more. Very quaint . The ambience was very pleasant and soothing . Very calm and quiet. The food was luscious and delightful. The staff were polite and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend and I will be returning in the future .

The Inn is usually a reliable pre-theatre choice for us with a solid menu and excellent vintage cocktails. Our most recent visit was not the experience we are accustomed to: food order notes were missed, quality was off, and service seemed harried, even unable to keep water glasses filled. We visited on prime rib night as a special treat for our son. The meat was not satisfactory for such a choice cut. For my pasta, the shrimp add-on was missed entirely and I was left sitting with my plate, waiting for shrimp that was served on a side plate. Our wonderful server saved the evening; but, she seemed to be dealing with many challenges from the kitchen and a lack of help in getting meals to busy tables. All in all, an expensive miss when dinner is running $100/person. We won't be back.

I love The Parlour. We come every time we are in Stratford. I had the steak which was delicious and I especially enjoyed my dessert of butterscotch custard.
