Great place for afternoon tea that gives you a mix of the classics and unique treats! The atmosphere and food were fantastic. Highly recommend!

We've been to maybe 20 afternoon teas all around London. This is still the best one, value for money. The reason I say that is that Parlour doesn't serve the boring finger sandwiches. Everything there is seasonal and handcrafted. We've been twice around Christmas, and this was our first time in the summer, so the menu was Italian-inspired. Also, I'd like to highlight the amazing service we've received from Avalyn. Parlour always had the highest standards.

I highly reccomend if you want to get the high tea experience when in London. This affordable high tea experience was a highlight of our trip to London, and definitely worth doing once. The service was wonderful. There was a fairly nice tea selection and a lot of sweet and savoury plates. My one critique would be the tea pots and cups. The plain white and glass dishes took away from the glamorous high tea ambiance and china would have truly elevated the experience to the next level. However, for 60 pounds a person, it is definitely worth it for the experience!

The hotel is well decorated and the two servers were kind. Unfortunately the tea salon was completely dead. The food was ok, just average, apart from the scones. They had tried to be too off-piste. Better to keep it simple. I appreciate calorie counts need to be available but to open your menu and see every number alongside the sweets and savouries was very off-putting when you are out for a treat. Afternoon tea is always meant to be a treat.

Food was lovely, sandwiches and scones were great. The cakes are beautiful and very delicious but sickly due to them being quite big and more of a share size than individual. 4 cakes that size shared would have been better than the 3 each as they were impossible to finish. We were the first table in and my biggest negative for the experience was the table it was a bog standard chair and table for 2 like you'd get in a café, while other much more comfortable and nicer looking tables sat empty the whole time we were there. Service was good but you can only have 1 additional sandwich each where every other London hotel will refill as much as you like. The room and hotel are beautifully designed and staff were all friendly and accommodating. Overall I would recommend for the price
