Dinner with my adult son. Fantastic experience, quality of food excellent. Service very good, our waiter was attentive and well informed. Overall a great experience at one of Washington’s long established restaurants. Will definitely return next time we visit Washington.

I’ll begin by saying that my husband and daughter loved the food but my salad was drowning in dressing and I didn’t love the shrimp cocktail; the shrimp were too large and, I think, as a result a bit tough.

Most of the food was very good, our porterhouse steak was very underwhelming. The quality of the meat didn't seem up to stuff with steaks at other restaurants like St Anselm, steak was also a bit under seasoned. Service and atmosphere was phenomenal though. People that worked there were very friendly and observant!

First time at a Palm steak house and I was pretty excited. Cocktails were ok. Nothing special. Wedge salad was very good. Filet came out way too rare (ordered it medium). I never send anything back, but it was just way too raw for me. They added more time on the grill and it was better. Ordered the chocolate cake and it came out ice cold (like it just came out of the freezer). At that temp it basically tasted like a Starbucks item ($15!). The service was very good, but the food experience was really subpar for this price point in a restaurant. I’d try Rare if in DC, Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris and skip the palm. Very disappointed.

Extremely disappointed, my filet was very salty. Server took it back and tried to fix it with marginal results. Quality of ribeye was excellent, but filet was gristly and chewy and if this was a prime filet it was of the lowest grade. Lastly the crab risotto had only four small pieces of crab – really disappointing.
