To keep you on your toes our head chef changes our evening menu regularly depending on what comes in fresh that day. Everything we offer is homemade and we source as much of the produce as we can as locally as possible. We always make sure there is a choice on the menu for Vegetarians, and we ask that when booking you let us know of any dietary requirements so we can tailor that evening’s menu appropriately.

Highly recommend- very friendly. Good food and value for money. Dog friendly. Will be going back again before our return to Kent.

Overall, a very nice place and a very nice meal. The young waitresses were all very personable also.

Great food and service and combination of a good local pub with and an excellent restaurant - unusual these days. My wife’s vegetarian tart was as good a vegetarian meal as she had anywhere and my Scampi the best I’ve had for many years. Much better wines than most pubs and a good selection of beers. We’re going back again.

Lovely venue with first class service, found it slightly expensive compared to other venues. Was also quite cool and felt cold for the duration.

The last time we visited, things were not the best, except the food which was beautiful. This time the food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The service from going into the Pack Horse to walking out was polite courteous and very attentive. The table was clean, tidy and there was every attention to detail. The service was prompt and everything was hot and delicious. I knew last time was not the usual excellent standard of the Pack Horse and I was right. Looking forward to our next visit and hopefully the Thai Nights will start again next year, they are very popular. Thank you for a wonderful night, good food and excellent ambience.

Fabulous dog friendly pub. We all had roast dinners, food was amazing and staff were really lovely! Wish we lived nearer!
