   Always happy to dine at the Post. Order the caribou! The wine list still staggers the mind. Happily, now that we drink less, it’s lovely to find a wonderful selection of half bottles Chef Hans Sauter is to be commended for his many years of excellence.

   A lovely dining room ,a careful and imaginative chef,an hospitable general manager, and  and their amazing wine list makes this a very special treat. Even better would be to stay there which we sadly did not.

    Have been coming to this restaurant annually. While there have been significant changes to the menu with new ownership the food quality and service remain top notch. While the fixed price menu is a turnoff for some, I found enough options to choose and food portions are modest. Also we frequently take our dessert to go. I noted a review complaining about lack of wine selection by the glass. There are some good half bottles available. Also non alcoholic wine is available for those who do not drink alcohol. I had the traditional butter leaf salad, the scallops,the black cod and the millefeuille. The food was excellent and the sauces wonderful. My husband tried caribou for the first time and was pleased. Our server, Marcel, was a top notch professional. Will be back next year.
