We use a selection of breeds including the Aberdeen Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Welsh Salt Marsh, Dingley Dell. All steaks and combos are served with beef dripping fries, slow roasted tomato, portobello mushroom, beer battered onion rings and either a peppercorn, béarnaise, garlic butter or red wine sauce

                                                                                    I am a regular visitor at the Orange tree restaurant with my husband and friends as consistently we get lovely home made food beautifully presented. I would highly recommend it lovely ambience so welcoming everything we have tried on the menu and specials board has been outstanding .This time I had the liver and bacon so tender with a mouth watering gravy . Looking forward to our next visit.

                                                                                    Having eaten at the Orange Tree on many occasions, we were disappointed this time. Although my partner enjoyed his roast beef dinner, I chose the Seafood Paella from the specials board. It was nothing like paella, more like a savoury rice dish. According to the specials board, the paella consisted of lobster, chicken, squid, mussels, scallops, king prawns, tempura prawn and breaded/battered squid. My paella consisted of three pieces of chicken, quite a few king prawns, one mussel, one tempura prawn and one piece of breaded/battered squid. There was no lobster, fresh squid or scallops. Our waiter did ask if we enjoyed our meal and I was honest in my reply and said that I didn't think it was a paella and that it wasn't very nice. I was given a dessert on the house, which I thought was a nice gesture. As I said to the waiter, it was my choice to choose the paella and not anyone else's fault. I did feel that the service wasn't as 'on point' as it usually is. We had to wait to have our table cleared and then to order desserts and coffees. I think they may have been short staffed. We will visit again, as this hopefully was just a 'one off'.

                                                                                    Fantastic roast today, great to find somewhere that serves great food at a reasonable price. Been to this restaurant twice now and highly recommend. Deserts were great too!!
