We use a selection of breeds including the Aberdeen Angus, Charolais, Hereford, Welsh Salt Marsh, Dingley Dell. All steaks and combos are served with beef dripping fries, slow roasted tomato, portobello mushroom, beer battered onion rings and either a peppercorn, béarnaise, garlic butter or red wine sauce

                                                                                    Food was good, but service was poor. Had to wait for the table we booked at 7.30 to be laid. Staff couldn’t cope and it wasn’t even busy in the main room but I think there was a private party in the back room.

                                                                                    Dinner for four at a true gastro-pub. Many varied and interesting dishes on the menu to choose from, all of which were excellent. Faultless service, fine food, nice ambience. Highly recommended.
