                        The scallops and Mahi Mahi are by far the most amazing dishes! I’ve gone here for several different celebrations and they exceed my expectations every time. The pleasure cruise is a yummy cocktail that’s light on the belly. Lastly, the beignet style hushpuppies are my favorite side. They’re more like a dessert, but a must try!

                        As much as I wanted to find something good about this restaurant, I couldn’t. I a not sure who is really giving this high marks. We did not have the oysters so I can’t comment on them. The menu was very limited and overpriced. The food was just bad—over engineered and expensive! Simple food that should taste good was made complicated by too many flavors. The waiter was very nice, but had no idea what was in the dishes. Several people left tables after being seated for a bit. It was a huge disappointment!

                        Although the portions were very very small and pricey they were quite tasty . Wine was served in the wrong glasses as was the after dinner drink . Sparking wine was not sparkling and served in the wrong glass . Cappuccino was served in a glass and not a cup ? The charge to park on the street in front of the restaurant ( by valet ) was $15 ??? Plus tip , never heard of anything like that ! The menu is quite limited and they didn’t have any specials ? Fine dinning prices but not “fine dinning” ! I will likely not give them a second chance !

                        Wonderful dining experience to celebrate daughter’s graduation. Food and service were excellent. Server Brian explained everything so well and was patient with us as well as attentive and personable. One of the best meals we have had in a long time.

                        We went for our anniversary dinner. We got seated by the kitchen back door and wait station. Very noisy and a lot of in and out the back door. Very hard to have a conversation. My husband did not like his dish at all. If the menu would have been explained he probably wouldn’t have ordered what he did. Definitely would not consider in the future. We had a very pleasant experience a couple of years ago, so I don’t know what has changed . It was our anniversary, usually when they ask you if this is a special occasion you get a nice dessert to share. This was an option either.

                        Been to the Optimist three times and it never disappoints…food is alway terrific and Brian’s service is always perfect.

                        Amazing food and service. The setting for the restaurant was so inviting and the noise level was just right. One of our favorites in Nashville.
