In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.

The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food.  The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth. 

Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile.  Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.

So here we are, with a covered seated area serving our firm favourites, complemented with a fully licenced bar and WC facilities... did we mention the stage?  That's right, we also provide live music from various acts from near and far - we are sure you will find our eatery to be like no other!

    This was a little bit of a disappointment to be honest. We were really looking forward to coming here for a belated Father’s Day celebration. The service wasn’t very good il be honest, wasn’t given basic things like a menu or cutlery. The food was ridiculously priced, £25 for half a rack of ribs! It was 3 pieces of ribs!!! With chips, beans and salad. Way too over priced for the portion you receive. Albeit food was tasty and good quality

    Always loved the food the pulled pork was very dry and just soaked in bbq sauce, also chicken burger very dry over cooked not as good as it used to be disappointed.

    Arrived on time and shown to table and offered a drink while we looked at the menu. This was our second time but won’t be a third, thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt but the food was very very salty and sloppy has last time. We had Houston and chicken burgers and dirty fries which was over cooked and burnt we did mention this and the staff just apologised which was not enough in our eyes. We had desserts being key lime pie and biscoff cheese cake we asked does it come with fresh whipped cream and the waitress said yes or ice cream we chose fresh cream and when it arrived it was aerosol spray crap cream and also the base was rock hard after mentioning this again another apology not good enough for £60 for burger and chips it was appallingly never again
