Established in the historic old capital of Aruba, Savaneta, The Old Man & The Sea Restaurant is the ideal place for a romantic dinner.

The cuisine is a mixture of local dishes with an international flare. We pride ourselves on having fresh catches of the day and good quality meats imported from the best distributors in the world.

This is one of those “do not miss“ experiences of Aruba. Just a few tables on the beach in a lighted grove of trees. Food was excellent. Service was extraordinary. Very high-end, but we found it also to be very accessible. Unrushed and romantic. Enjoy!

Highlight of our trip!!!! It was like walking into a magical world…we’ve never experienced anything like it! Beautiful setting right on the water but shaded by palm trees with a killer view. Excellent service…Wendell gave us a special anniversary serenade. Food and drinks were great! Highly recommend!!! An absolute perfect night full of ambiance!❤️

Hands-down, one of my favorite restaurants. Highly recommend. You cannot beat the ambience. I compare the quality of food to one of my favorite restaurants River Café in Brooklyn, New York. Every time I come back from Aruba when asked about my vacation I told them if you ever get to go it’s a must go to restaurant Chris Emerick

The location and ambiance is breathtaking. Our server was super nice and the service was decently paced. The food however was NOT good. We both got the penne vodka, one with lobster and one with the scallops. The pasta had no sauce the the fish was almost flavorless. For the price of that dish I’d expect WAY better. The cat on the grounds was adorable and the live music was nice but very loud. All in all I wouldn’t go back unless they improved the food.

This place is an absolute must! It was breathtaking and my food was the best I had on the island. I had the stuffed chicken breast with truffle sauce that was delicious. When we visit te island again we will definitely be going back!!
