The food was good as usual. The staff were efficient and friendly too. Always easy to get a park as well

My friends are I are frequent diners at The Old England Hotel. We come here for the ambience, comfort, service and the food, which is usually very good. Both my friend and I had the Atlantic salmon which was served on a bed of very undercooked green beans and rather soggy potatoes. I don’t mind slightly al dente vegetables, but those beans were raw! The fish, however, was well cooked with a nice crispy skin. I ate everything on my plate because I was hungry. My friend, however, left her green beans!

We were given a small area on the side which was perfect for a group of 12. They had a a special Sicilian menu at the moment which was good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was great. Not cheap for a pub meal but great meals every time.
