   We ate in the bar - the staff were very friendly and attentive. The starters were tasty, with some good options on the specials board. We all had burgers which were excellent, the chips were crispy, and the salad was really fresh. None of us had a dessert as we were so full! We went on a Saturday night, so there was a normal level of background noise from a busy town centre hotel bar.

   Staff friendly and helpful. We ordered food and unfortunately the chicken that came with the chicken and ribs meal was so overdone and burnt that we had to return it. Staff were very understanding though and offered another piece or a refund. Nice atmosphere- music a bit too loud for us but we are in our 50’s! Would recommend, think we were just unlucky with one of our meals.

   I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. I was with a group of six people having lunch. The staff are always friendly and approachable and all the food we ordered was presented nicely and we all enjoyed our meals.

   We had a beautiful Mother’s Day meal here. Food turned up in good time, was delicious and everyone loved it. Highly recommended!

   After our last experience at The Bull I swore never to return however it seems to have been completely turned around, I even asked if it had changed hands! The roasts are now served directly from the kitchen instead of in the restaurant area, which is much better than having to queue. The ambiance is relaxed and organised, compared to the chaos of our last visit. Prices are a little too high, but I had a children's roast at £9.50 which was more than sufficient. Well done The Bull, can't wait to return!

   Staff were super lovely, we had a large booking and they were super accommodating, food was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be eating here again

   The food on New Years Day was incredible. Huge portions well presented and delivered to the table quickly. However it was New Years Day and the staff were all recovering from a heavy night and discussing their various experiences making a lot of noise. One chap was having a pint on his own and was told that the table was reserved at 1:30 so he left. At 1:30 some young friends of the bar staff arrived and sat drinking at the table.

    Booked a table for 5 people in bar for 3 clock got they no table then when we got one order food and stater came with mains was a poor service all round sadly
