Nestled in the stunning Berkshire countryside in Stanford Dingley, The Old Boot Inn offers two new dining experiences under new landlord Michael Stenekes. Traditional British pub classics in the pub , and a new garden dining experience in heated teepees with TOBI's Secret Garden, delivering a healthy, fresh lo-carb menu with locally brewed British ales and a selection of great wines.

    Menu is very poor, the food was way to expensive for what it is and the service is slow. The place was empty, with such a poor quality of food and service we understand why. The space outside is very nice.

    The best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time, and in a beautiful setting, with excellent service. Couldn’t fault it, will definitely return.

    Food delicious and very good value. The Teepee setting is very charming (although got a bit chilly later in the evening so a few back up heaters would be helpful) friendly service but could be a bit ‘sharper’ . First drink was flat and warm, my replacement only slightly better. We had to ask for further drinks and for dessert options rather than be asked. Overall encouraging first visit under the new management.

    Super place, great for Fridays and Saturdays but what about the rest of the week? Michael was very, very busy and there was not enough staff for him to talk to all the quests. My bill was not correct, two items were missing which I added. A separate table, Ii later found out, also had an incorrect bill, but they did not add it, so the Bull lost out. The billing has to be improved

    Fabulous setting in the teepee. Food was excellent and the focus on low carbs was refreshing to see. It was also good to see the owner/chef mingling with the customers. For a newly opened restaurant there is nothing to negative about it. Definitely on our “keeper” list.

    Lovely decor and feel in the new TOBI’s secret garden restaurant. Delicious food with a lovely sharing concept. Brilliant guitarist too. We will definitely be back!
