Nestled in the stunning Berkshire countryside in Stanford Dingley, The Old Boot Inn offers two dining experiences, traditional British pub classics in the pub , and a new garden dining experience in heated teepees with TOBI's Secret Garden, delivering a healthy, fresh menu cooked in out outdoor kitchen, with locally brewed British ales and a selection of great wines. We recently received Open Table's Diners Choice award.

    Delicious food. Extremely slow service throughout. This was mentioned when paying but there was zero response.

    Last minute booking and a charming pub, limited menu but cooked to order and fresh. Mains and puddings were very good portions. Fish and chips and the burgers just felt slightly limited in flavour and seasoning which holds it back from five stars. Two adults, two teens and an under five. £156 including the tip and a drink each

    Went there for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed. We were seated next to the cosy fire. Service was great, food delicious, and the ambience and character of this old pub was marvellous.

    We had a fantastic Sunday lunch recently at the Old Boot Inn with a group consisting of 4 adults and 4 children. The playground outside is a massive bonus point. Apart from a minor hiccup with 1 of the kids meals all of the rest was delicious. A lovely, cosy country pub.

    Thank you so much for your hospitality this afternoon. We had a really lovely time and what a great place, staff, service and food. We hope to visit again soon.

    The most yummy soup on a cold damp day, followed by a beautifully cooked blade of beef, with congenial, attentive service. The 8 clean plates said it all. Excellent value for superbly cooked food.

    Lovely proper old country pub, the food was amazing all three courses, the chef came out and chatted about the food and both he and the barmaid were both really warm and friendly. Will definitely visit again

    The Denver steak was exceptional! The butternut squash soup with the leek butter on the bread was also delicious. Would definitely recommend.
