Have eaten from general menu several times but this time tried Sunday lunch. Really good and would not hesitate to have again.

Because we couldn't get together for a meal before Christmas we opted to try The Old Boat House in January. Booking a table was easy and we were even given crackers as we said about our Christmas meal. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was quick, helpful and friendly. We will certainly go again

The meal was good although the portion of chips on one plate was fairly small and the potato on the lamb shepherds pie did not cover the meat. The staff were distracted by taking down Christmas decorations and were probably less attentive than usual. However, they were cheerful and polite. The place is very nice and clean and the food tasted good . Satisfactory value for money .

Been here a number of times after a walk down the canal but not eaten here for a while but was not disappointed with the food and the whole experience. So thank you for a lovely visit

It got a little busy towards the end of out meal so the service was hit and miss . Had to order drinks at the bar and the pay the bill at the bar in the end . The quality of food was very disappointing as I have eaten here before . The burger was on the cool side as it it had been left under the hot light and the chips were reheats . I ordered additional portion to see if they were any better and after waiting 15 minutes they again came out as reheats . Very disappointed

Another nice evening with you but the accompliments portion sizes leave something to be desired. The mushy peas consisted of 2 fork fulls and that was that. The tarture sauce was the same. Had the meal been £3 cheaper then a moan wouldn't have been in order. The fish was nice though. Regards Christopher hall

We went for a family birthday. Food and service excellent as always. We had a gluten free person with us who they catered for excellently. They even provided a GF brownie and candle.

Lovely food, really enjoyed our meal. Issue with heating when we arrived but was soon sorted and warm enough to take our coats off!
