Our 1st time here for sister in law's 70th, she wanted a Sunday roast. I joined her but chose the vegetarian one, both were really lovely with a good selection of vegetables. Others in our party chose various meals of a steak, burger and fish and chips. Everyone was really impressed and especially liked the waitress service. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. We will be back.

First time here and it won't be the last. Had the pie and it was the best one I've ever had. Really enjoyed our visit and already telling friends.

This meal was booked without issue on line. We had a lovely meal in an unhurried environment. There is lots of choice on the menu and there is even a gluten free option. There is nothing to complain about, the service and welcome were at the right level. Thank you to all involved.

We had a very bad experience with the very rude manager when ordering our food he was aggressive towards us saying we should of ordered earlier as even though we had booked a table the kitchen was closed he reluctantly said we could have the food we had ordered and just paid for at the bar and then went on a rant about his staff needing a break they advertise lunch as being on all afternoon and felt in pre booking a table we would be absolutely fine me and my friends were shocked at the way we were spoken to and I would never eat here again.

Went there with a friend after reading good reviews nothing could be further from the truth. They where short staffed only 2 working front of house the portions where small and definitely overpriced not a chance I would return.

We have eaten at the BoatHouse a few times and really enjoyed the food and the lovely service. I think we were just unfortunate to go on a sunny bank holiday. The food was below their usual standard and the wait time was exceptionally long. They did apologise but we felt that as a group booking we should have been prioritised over walk-ins who were sat outside.
