   We decided to try out The Oakmont before heading to the ISO for a Pops series. The menu included multiple Vegan items for me to choose from which was so nice. There’s a beautiful outdoor dining area which I’m sure is quite lovely during days when it’s not pouring. Mike had the braised short rib over masked potatoes with broccolini. He said it was delicious and just the right portion size. I had “the Vegan” which was a delightful vegetable sandwich with humus on delicious bread. Sandwich needed a bit more seasoning, perhaps the red bell peppers could be roasted, but it was a generous portion for the price. I also got a side salad which could have been shareable. The house balsamic was delish. The outside sign did not match the inside decor and atmosphere. I was expecting something a little more regal, but it wasn’t a bad thing. It felt cheery but a little louder than I expected-more bar-ish. Nicole our server, however was simply delightful; a doll and she took great care of us. This is not a romantic getaway dinner option, but everyone working was kind and joyful as were most of the patrons occupying the couch and tables. We laughed as the table next to us wound up sitting directly behind us at the symphony. They had the exact same impression, not what we were expecting, but still quite nice. They shared the Chimichuri steak and said it was pretty tasty as well. All in all Nicole and the food made it quite nice.

   The Oakmont was incredible. We went there last night to celebrate my friends 31st birthday. The food was amazing, the drinks were divine and the ambience was the icing on the cake. There were so many photo opportunities around the restaurant it was so fun! We tried a few different drinks, all phenomenal.We all got different entrees and love each one. 10/10 recommend.

   The food here is wonderful. Service was also top notch. If you are a drinker, the Rye Tai is great. When you get to dessert, don’t pass on the donut holes. They are amazing. First time there but won’t be the last.

   The Oakmont is a great place for brunch! Great atmosphere, great vibe and great food!! Live DJ is great! Highly recommend if you are local or traveling!

   We took our daughter there for dinner and we all really liked it. The atmosphere was fun and the cocktails were really good. It's just off the Mass Ave beaten path - a great place to eat outside too. Service was great - very friendly staff. We will go back.

   Always a great time. Missed our favorite former bartender- server but will look forward to our next visit.

   Food was fabulous and service was great. A DJ did come in during brunch and that made conversation a bit more difficult because we had a large group so the opposite ends had had a hard time hearing each other.

   Great service from the time we hit the door. Food was excellent, from sandwiches to French toast to omelettes. DJ started around 11 am, so expect it loud. Will be back soon.

    Love the food and service was great. Not sure why you need to blast music during brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The DJ/music was nice just turn it down a little so you can hear the Server and your table companions.
