I thought the menu looked nice but I wasn't expecting it to be quite as good as it was. Nice, concise menu and everything was delicious. The haddock and chips was the best fish & chips I have had in years - tasted like the oil was really clean and everything was absolutely greaseless. I also think you can really tell how much care a place puts into things by how good a side salad is, and the little gem salad was just superb: very lightly dressed, incredibly fresh, crisp, properly washed leaves and a bit of tang from some pickled red onion. The only element that wasn't absolutely perfect was the choux bun on the assiette of desserts, which was a little thick. Great service, lovely room. Brilliant.

Not been to the Oakley Arms for many years and went there to celebrate wedding anniversary. The pub has changed hands and was very impressed with new owners. Service and food were fantastic. Good value for money and cheese board was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be back soon.

This was our first time eating at the Oakley Arms as we live out of town. We all really enjoyed our meal. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a lovely lunch We arrived at 2.15 for lunch and we couldn’t believe that we were still there enjoying the experience at past 6 pm Will Definately hope to return

Once again, Andy, Lizzie and their fabulous team at The Oakley Arms Harrold have delivered culinary perfection. We’ve dined several times with them, but have never had a Sunday roast there. In all honesty, our previous experiences of Sunday roast at different venues have generally not been good, so I usually just cook on a Sunday. Today, on our wedding anniversary, we hit the jackpot 😁 A superb menu, celebrating local and seasonal produce, crafted, with care into wonderfully flavoured and textured dishes, which tantalised and excited. Their alcohol free cocktails are sensational. Even the chilled water was on another level! Thanks for a memorable lunch, made even more special by your generous gift of a celebratory plate of petite fours, which I could just about manage after wonderfully generous portions. A class act, sensibly priced and very well deserving of their AA 2 rosettes. Thank you ❤️

Thanks yet again for another great dining experience at the Oakley Arms. The was very good as ever and the atmosphere and service was great. My Aussie friends were also very impressed.
