Another fantastic meal at The Oakley Arms. Every time we visit the food is consistently excellent, the menu has interesting and exciting new dishes as well as a couple of firm favourites. Food delicious, well presented and served by friendly, helpful staff. Loved the halibut main course this evening. So full I couldn’t manage a dessert - they looked amazing. Great excuse to return soon. Thanks ‘Oakley team ‘

Nice light not crowded area. Service very good staff friendly polite. Food ok the beef could have been more tender. Had to sk fir steak knives. Not enough veg and roast potatoes in my option over cooked. Lovely deserts. But expensive.

Overall a average meal , puddings were outstanding so tasty no complaints at all, but main courses three of us had Roast beef, had to ask for steak knife’s due to be unable to cut it, mine was enjoyable but my wife had to return hers and second portion wasn’t much better, credit to the staff was removed from the bill, but my friend left a lot and nothing was done and only two roast potatoes and a very portion of veg which was disappointing ,

Beautiful food, great tastes, scents and textures. Very impressed with the Chef’s ability to adapt dishes to avoid my Lactose intolerance. The service was a little slow, but forgivable as it was Saturday night and the restaurant was full.

Wonderful food, the standout was the chocolate and salted caramel tart, a-mazing!! Good service. Relaxed atmosphere.

We had an excellent and enjoyable evening at Oakley Arms. When we arrived we had a drink in the lovely garden. We were shown to our table by a lovely young chap who looked after us all evening. The food was exceptional and so was the service. I was disappointed I had left no room for a pudding as I had picked one out from the menu. Need to go back again soon.
