    Lovely setting overlooking the lake. Attentive, friendly staff. Nice menu. Very good variety. Delicious. Would highly recommend.

    Loved sitting on the porch and the view of Lake Champlain! Excellent chicken and steak and the fresh vegetables - so delicious! A little too much maple syrup on the Brussel sprouts but other than that, a perfect experiences.

    We made an early reservation and our table for 4 was in a private room. We had a wonderful time and meal with our friends.

    We thoroughly enjoy our dinners while sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. Wait staff is friendly, attentive and knowlegeable. The food is varied and overall very good. It's a lovely escape from the everyday humdrum!

    I only submit this in order to be honest and help the establishment do better. It is not my intention to be negative but . . . The grits with the shrimp and grits were absolutely tasteless. Shrimp was so-so. The beet salad (for 2) was served in a large bowl with uncut beets - large circles and large pieces of uncut lettuce. This would be OK but the individual serving bowls were small deep circular bowls about 3 inches in diameter. So we had to stuff the lettuce into the bowls and cut it! It was quite awkward. Serving plates would have been better. Crème brulee was again so-so. Some Parts were runny and not cooked. some parts were warm and some were cold. Not sure if it is supposed to be served warm or cold but I guess I can say it was both! Server was polite and food came in a timely fashion. It was only the quality of the food that was under par.

    As always, a god experience. We feel welcomed as soon as we walk in the door. We like the new dining set up and the bar area. The staff is top notch and the menu inventive and delicious.
