One of the many incredible things about Vermont is the beautiful summer evenings. After a warm and busy day enjoying the adventures this incredible area has to offer, there is nothing like winding down with a cocktail and the breeze off the lake as you settle in to a delicious meal. Join us with a reservation to dine al fresco at one of our famous North Dock dinners. For 2023 the themed dinners include: Lakeside Cookout, Vermont Picnic and our classic lobster bake Shore Dinner. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED, please call 802-475-2311. Tax and service is additional. Please note that an 18% Gratuity will automatically be added to all parties of 6 or more.

The North Dock is right on Lake Champlain so diners can experience truly wonderful views and, if the weather is right, spectacular sunsets. The food is consistently delicious. Served buffet style with a wide range of options, diners enjoy the freshest local produce in spectacular salads, and equally fresh fish and meat. Last night’s highlights were an amazing broccoli salad, melt in your mouth prime rib, and fantastic carrot cake. We’ve eaten at the North Dock for years and have never been disappointed. Service is brilliant- very attentive.

Everything was lovely. The service was terrific, and the food delicious. There were so many tasty choices. I appreciate that there were GF and vegan choices in the buffet.

The staff did an excellent job despite it being a bit windy on the dock. The food was great as always. Parking closer to the venue should be available.

It was amazing how they recovered from a serious rainfall just minutes before, and still were able to set up such a lovely dinner and dry and comfortable tables. Bravo!

We attended the Sunday night BBQ Excellent food and eating on the water is a great in the summer months. It is buffet style and you are seated at long tables with other diners. Come with an empty stomach and a large appetite as there is plenty of food. The only suggestion I would have is maybe to have a tent over the food so it’s not in direct sun exposure. And ice for the salads. We will be back!

Clams and mussels were terrible/ overcooked. Steak and lobster were decent.

Well done! All the lobster and other food you wanted. All delicious. Due to weather we were inside and the band was a little loud but fun. Would've liked some spreadable butter for the rolls but maybe we just didn't look in the right place.

Hi, there was a REALLY loud table next to us, so the first part of the evening we could not really hear each other, but they calmed down after a bit. We like the dock concept and we were at the far table, so it was a nice setting for the sunset. We did not thing the food was as good as last year. The best things were the salmon and the chicken wings. The ribs were pretty dry (as they were at Red Mill on Sat.), and could have used some sauce for the side. Salads were good, but not great. Kids liked the corn and the corn dogs. Lots of cookies, but not that much variety in the desserts. Ice cream always appreciated by our crowd! Thank you - it was a lovely evening. Value a little questionable, since over $420 for that type of food seemed a bit pricey. (5 aadults, 2 kids). Service was great and friendly. Red wine by the glass was almost undrinkable.

Although the menu looked good online, when we arrived, it turned out to be buffet style. Food was somewhat dry. Great scenery, and staff was friendly. There are no signs saying “North Dock” anywhere. All in all, a good experience - just wasn’t close to what was advertised.
