Why The North Coal? The concept was created by the feeling of being away from city life with family and friends. For us, that’s Northern Ontario, but as lucky as we are to experience that way of life, not everyone is. Our mission is to provide that feeling regardless of your surroundings.

    Met up with a high school friend for many years ago. Made a reservation, welcomed very nice. Served was attentive. Food selection- excellent. Both of our meals was great. Nice and quiet restaurant. We asked our was her to take a photo of us and gladly did it.

    Food and service were amazing. Get the brussel sprout starter, you won’t be disappointed. Mains were great too!

    Both my husband and I shared an appetizer sweet chili shrimp and it’s to die for, we also both ordered medium steak and frites and it was grilled to perfection! The staff were very nice and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Went here for dinner with some friends. We enjoyed everything except the salmon dinner. Fish was overcooked and tasted fishy. Overall, everything was great. Our server was very good.

    Husband and I went there for a quick lunch. We had thee shareable plates! Really good. The shrimp,Korean steak bites and the pretzels were all great! The staff are so sweet and always happy to see you! Great place!
