Join us for the very best of modern British dining looking out over Cheltenham's newest, iconic and timeless vista.

The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

Enjoy the ultimate Chef's Table experience with a 7 course Tasting Menu including wine pairing and interactions with our chefs about each exquisite course. Your group will be completely private from the restaurant so you can enjoy exclusive dining in our Private Dining Room with a maximum of 12 guests. £1000 minimum spend required at the point of booking. We do require at least 1 week's notice period. OpenTable does not enable us to monitor this. Therefore, if you are booking within this timeframe your booking may be cancelled and your £1000 deposit will be returned to you. If you are booking within this time frame, we'd prefer you contact our Bookings Team immediately on 01242 650948 or email bookings@thenookcheltenham.co.uk.

Celebrate Christmas Day with us at The Nook On Five. A Caviar reception and 6 course set menu with choices for mains and desserts. Christmas day now has 3 sittings at 12pm, 13:15pm and 3:30pm. 12pm will have a time limit on their tables for 3 hours. After which you are more than welcome to stay at our bar and continue to enjoy your drinks. All Christmas Day bookings are to be paid no later than 8th December 2024. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements.

The ambience is flawless and the only issue with the food we had, was that the duck was a tiny portion, but that and the butternut squash(veggie) was phenomenal. However, I do have to say, the service was questionable. Our waiter was basically avoiding eye contact, so tying to grab them to get the bill and a top up on water was a challenge. one other member of staff was rather rude to me on two occasions one worth mentioning in more detailing. He literally stopped dead in his tracks in front of me to let three women past who he proceeded to follow with his eyes, doing a full three-sixty. He then made eye contact with me no apology or even acknowledgement of my existence, as I then tried to squeeze past him, as he literally did not move to let me past.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at The Nook. We went for lunch , great service , great food and lovely setting. We will certainly be going back.

A well located restaurant with a good outlook. Clean and well presented. Starters were mediocre… main courses were better.

We attended The Nook for our work Christmas lunch this year. Within our group we had a few different dietary requirements, all of which were met perfectly by the staff. They were very cautious and attentive where it came to ensuring we all had exactly what we needed. The staff were lovely and extremely professional- topping up our drinks and making sure to take away our dirty plates soon after we were all finished. The food was absolutely delicious and all cooked to our specification (Fillet of beef) We can’t wait to return again next year for our Christmas lunch again, if not sooner!

Enjoyed our 1st time here. Every was perfect from the service to the ambiance. Food and wine was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Have been several times before so we took visiting friends for a late lunch. It didn’t disappoint. The food, service and atmosphere was great and we had a relaxing, chilled afternoon.

We have been before for afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Today we weren’t as blown away as before. The small quiche appetiser seemed to be made with sweet pastry and the scones seemed a bit over baked. It was still a nice experience but unfortunately not as good as before.

Have visited quite a few times and really like it. However today I was given a table by the entrance to the kitchen with full view of the coffee making machine and the noise going with it. Obviously a constant stream of staff passing to and from the kitchen immediately behind my seat. I asked immediately on being shown if I could change as it was not what I wanted. The young female staff member said it was not possible to go to another table. After 5 mins I again asked if I could move. She again made no effort to investigate. The location of my table spoiled the enjoyment of what was otherwise a good experience . Why put a table there?
