The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Every single item on this menu has been sourced from within our shores and showcases the best of our butchers, farmers, vineyards and beyond. Featuring Rabbit, Duck, Plums, English Wine, Rum and Vermouth! We cannot unfortunately accommodate vegan preferences for this menu. Please let us know of dietaries in advance.

Celebrate Christmas Day with us at The Nook On Five. A Caviar reception and 6 course set menu with choices for mains and desserts. Christmas day now has 3 sittings at 12pm, 13:15pm and 3:30pm. 12pm will have a time limit on their tables for 3 hours. After which you are more than welcome to stay at our bar and continue to enjoy your drinks. All Christmas Day bookings are to be paid no later than 8th December 2024. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements.

Another fantastic meal. The perfect place for a special occasion. The menu is exceptional. Drinks at the bar is also a lovely experience.

We were celebrating a birthday with six guests The service was great and the ambiance also great The food selection on offer was ok with vegetarian options We choose crab fritters and scallops and the bread to start however the crab fritters were extremely salty with no taste of crab and served with a hot sauce which didn’t cut through or complement the fritters. The bread and scallops were fine The mains were the fish and chicken which was nice Deserts were fine Wine was lovely Overall we had a lovely time as it was a family gathering but felt some of the food a bit lacking for the venue

This place looked nice with a good menu including gluten free options that I needed. A little pricey but I thought probably worth it. Nope. I had a 6:00 pm reservation…people just starting to come in. The space is lovely, well appointed. Two waiters and one person bringing plates out from kitchen. Not staffed up to attend to a full house which occurred before 7:00 pm. I don’t blame the staff. They were racing around the place and could not keep up. Much of the time there was one waiter for a full restaurant! To the owner…that’s just cheap. Inexpensive Spanish wine was fine. Ordered gluten free Market Fish. And gluten free bread. Expected some kind of dinner roll or at least bread that had some taste. Nope. Toasted gluten free white bread. Tasteless…should not be served outside of breakfast. The fish dish looked good…it was hot…haha…but was tough and sort of rubbery. Honestly I was hungry…and wanted to remain positive. But really the meal was quite inferior. Now I can’t get a waiter’s attention. Had to flag one down for a second glass of wine..because it was the only thing that tasted as it should. Waiter delivers dessert menu then never can back 😣. I had to take myself to the stand and ask for the bill. Over $90 good old America dollars. I just spent two weeks in London where I had some really good reasonably priced meals..believe it or not..and much better customer service. People I would think twice about spending your money here. I hope the owner takes the time to read reviews on sites like this. This was a bad experience.

Ambience was perfect. The food was really delicious and well presented. The venue is not noisy and the piano music was just right.

We visited for our wedding anniversary and cannot fault the service or the food. The whole experience was lovely and we will definitely be coming back

From start to finish the experience was amazing. My girlfriend and I booked to celebrate our anniversary. We were given the option to select an occasion and were offered complimentary Prosecco to celebrate when we were seated. We were upgraded to a booth table (normally for parties of 4 or more) because it was quiet which was a lovely touch. The table was comfortable and quiet which was the perfect setting for my girlfriend and I to enjoy the view and the meal. Service was attentive but not overbearing, professional but still fun and personable. Food was incredible. The crab fritters, chicken supreme, Loch Duart salmon and vanilla panna cotta were all delightful. The bartender also made me a negroni off menu which was fantastic (I’m a mixologist myself), easily the best negroni I’ve had in Cheltenham. We enjoyed a bottle of Pouilly Fume too, which was expertly presented and our glasses were never empty all evening thanks to the attentive staff. We can’t wait to be back, thank you so much!
