The Nook On Five uses produce from the best butchers, fishmongers, grocers, creameries, distilleries and vineyards to create dishes and experiences both fun and fine.

Serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, take in mouth-watering bites overlooking the Cotswolds and the rooftops of Montpellier.

Headed up by Alisha Phillpotts, the kitchen carefully selects the finest produce to cook up a refined evening à la carte menu, alongside a fab lunch and all day menu of modern British classics and twists.

The bar and cellar offers an extensive English section to our wine list and serve up some fantastic cocktails which you can take out to our rooftop terrace.

Enjoy afternoon tea with us at the Nook. We freshly prepare our cakes, scones and sandwiches every day. We tend to always have a Macaron, a chocolate and a sponge. Allergies & Dietaries- Please let us know of any dietary or allergy requirements in advance of your booking. Because we make everything fresh we need to make tailored products in advance. If we do not get this in advance, accommodating your requirements could take up to 1 hour from the time you arrive as we will be baking those cakes fresh for you on the day.

Exceptional! The Sunday lunch was superb, food and service. Menu has a good variety of options and price very reasonable (in fact cheap given the quality of food and service).

We really enjoyed our visit to The Nook on Five such a lovely place for a celebration or a quiet romantic lunch or dinner. The food and service was excellent so would definitely recommend. We were hoping to sit outside but the weather was a little cooler so were indoors which did not disappoint. Thank you.

Arrived on time for table and it wasn’t ready. Had to get drink at bar an seat ourselves. Waiter was great but the rest of staff were slow and not interested. Went to get air after mains and to review the desert options. Came back to discover out table had been given away. We were sent to bat without apology, only after 20 minutes and having settled did anyone apologise, they also offered to reseat us on a dirty table. Left overall feeling incredibly disappointed and the lack of empathy from staff has left me questioning if I’ll ever return

Went to The Nook On Five for our Anniversary meal. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The view from the bar was incredible to watch the sunset with a glass in hand. The food was exceptional, we had the sharing steak, a côte de bouef that was cooked to perfection. And I cannot recommend those confit potato fritters enough! Delicious! Thanks also for the complementary prosecco for our special occasion! Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This meal was a birthday lunch for my 83 year old mother. I had contacted the venue 22 hours before arrival to request an outside/rooftop table should the weather permit (which it didn't, too windy) and that some kind of fuss be made for my mother ie a sparkler with her desert. An outside table was available if we had decided to brave the wind but no sparkler, etc, unfortunately. The food was average for this kind of establishment and for the price. Service was above average and the decor/view was very good. I would try this place when I visit Cheltenham again but would maybe do it in the evening if I were staying overnight. Good effort but not quite incredible yet.

Afternoon tea: the food was good but not particularly memorable bar the scones which were very nice The young kady who served our wine was very helpful but subsequent to that noone asked how our food was or or if we needed anything else. We were very disappointed to discover that unlike other meals on the menu afternoon tea did not merit a tablecloth. This is the first restaurant anywhere where we have experienced this lacklustre approach to what should be a pleasant, if not luxurious, experience
