The Ninth est le plus récent projet du chef londonien Jun Tanaka. Situé au cœur du quartier très animé de Fitzrovia à Londres, ce restaurant contemporain de 90 places propose des plats de style méditerranéen français, simples mais raffinées, tous conçus pour partager, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante. Le menu à la carte - disponible pour le dîner et le souper - met l'accent sur les produits saisonniers les plus vivants et fait ressortir les vraies saveurs ce ceux-ci. For a Michelin star restaurant, I am disappointed with the service and overall quality of dining. It’s crowded and noisy, with little space to the next table. It’s seriously under staff, the overall experience is just like an average restaurant from my experience.

Fairly nice restaurant. We had set lunch at £30/2 courses. Cured Mackerel was fresh and tasty - accompanying vinegrette was sharp and quite well balanced but it did mean the suggested wine pairing (Riesling - also very tart) was overkill. Main of tempura red snapper came as whole fillet (though I found a couple of bones). Batter a little limp. Pea and courgette accompaniment was nice. My guest had Broad bean & pea risotto and the pavlova for dessert… both of which she liked. Pleasant and attentive service. Maybe I’m too picky but I probably would not return.

Excellent food. Lovely service. The set lunch was great value. Drinks are on the pricier side but overall perfect for a special occasion!

Very good overall experience, good ambience with imaginative food, well up to the standard of a Michelin star. Well priced as well with good range of wine. Had the snacks and starters to share, followed by an eclectic cheese board. Will go again as menu rolls.

My friend and i went their for lunch, and the food was exquisite. As there was room we ended up being able to sit out on the patio. We both enjoyed delicious mains, and then dessert! We especially loved the pain perdue- we didn't know what to expect, but it ended up tasting of perfection!

Really enjoyed our first visit here. The service was excellent and the lunch set menu is extremely good value. Restuarant itself is lovely and it was a nice day so we were inside but with the doors fully open, it felt like we could enjoy the good weather. Food was very nice and would like to go back and choose from the full menu another time which seems to be priced fairly for the standard. They marked our anniversary with a nice sorbet gesture at no charge which they didn't have to do.

An outstanding dining experience at The Ninth in London! From the fresh and flavorful crab and seaweed tarts to the decadently creamy truffle pasta, and the perfectly cooked pork with crispy potatoes. The highlight was the Pain Perdu—a dessert so deliciously perfect, it was the best I've ever had. Impeccable service and a warm ambiance make The Ninth a must-visit for exquisite culinary delights. Highly recommend!

Excellent food as always. Service was clearly challenged when we visited and it took a very long time before we could order (over 45 mins at lunchtime) and then it was 1 hr 15 mins before starters arrived, followed by main courses well over 2 hours after we arrived.
